The provisions of this article shall apply to the ice-covered
waters of Whitewater Lake and adjoining channels lying within the
corporate limits of the Towns of Richmond and Whitewater, Walworth
County, Wisconsin. The provisions of this article shall be enforced
by a patrol officer or officers or law enforcement officer duly elected
or appointed by the Town of Richmond and the Town of Whitewater, both
in Walworth County, Wisconsin.

Except as otherwise specifically provided in this article, the
statutory provisions describing and defining regulations with respect
to snowmobiles in the following enumerated sections of the Wisconsin
Statutes are hereby adopted by reference and made part of this article
as if fully set forth in this article. Acts required to be performed
or prohibited by such statutes are required or prohibited by this
article.
A. Section 350.02, Wis. Stats., Illegal operation of snowmobile on or
in the vicinity of highways.
B. Section 350.03, Wis. Stats., Failure to yield right-of-way to person
not on a snowmobile.
C. Section 350.07, Wis. Stats., Driving wild animals with a snowmobile.
D. Section 350.10(1), Wis. Stats., Unreasonable, improper speed.
E. Section 350.10(1)(d), Wis. Stats., Operate snowmobile without muffler
on engine.
F. Section 350.10(1)(f) to (m), Wis. Stats., Trespass.
G. Section 350.101(1)(a), Wis. Stats., First offense, operate snowmobile
while intoxicated.
H. Section 350.101(1)(b), Wis. Stats., First offense, operate snowmobile
with alcohol concentration above 0.1%.
I. Section 350.101(1)(c), Wis. Stats., Absolute sobriety for persons
under 19.
J. Section 350.104(5), Wis. Stats., First offense, refuse to take intoxicated
snowmobile test.
K. Section 350.12(1), Wis. Stats., Operate snowmobile without valid
registration.
L. Section 350.135(1), Wis. Stats., Interference with signs and standards.
M. Section 350.15(2), Wis. Stats., Failure to render aid.
N. Section 350.15(3), Wis. Stats., Failure to report snowmobile accident.
O. Section 350.101(1)(a), Wis. Stats., Operate snowmobile while intoxicated
(S-24).
(2nd offense within five years and five days to six months.)
(3rd or more offenses within five years and 30 days to one year.)
P. Section 350.101(1)(b), Wis. Stats., Operate snowmobile with alcohol
concentration above 0.1%.
(2nd offense within five years and five days to six months.)
(3rd or more offenses within five years, and 30 days to one
year.)
Q. Section 350.101(2), Wis. Stats., Cause injury by intoxicated operation
of snowmobile.
R. Section 350.104(5), Wis. Stats., Refuse to take test.

(3rd or more offenses within five years, and 30 days to one
year).
S. 350.17(2), Wis. Stats., Failure to stop for law enforcement officer
and/or 30 days to one year.
T. S-22, Failure to stop for law enforcement officer, § 350.17(2),
Wis. Stats. (crime).
The Town Board of the Town of Whitewater, Walworth County, Wisconsin,
does hereby adopt the state January 1, 1988 bond schedule for violations
of this chapter.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall,
upon conviction thereof, be subject to a forfeiture in an amount as
set forth in a fee schedule to be kept on file with the Town Clerk,
along with the costs of prosecution.
