A.
The City of Lancaster Streetscape District consists of the following areas:
(1)
The Downtown Streetscape District consists of the area bordered by Lemon Street, Prince Street, Farnum Street, Church Street and Lime Street; and
(2)
The Northern Gateway Streetscape District consists of the area bordered by Lemon Street, Lime Street, Liberty Street, and Prince Street, and McGovern Avenue, Prince Street, Amtrak railroad tracks and Lititz Avenue; and
(3)
The following street corridors inclusive of the entire right-of-way:
(a)
New Holland Avenue from the Amtrak railroad tracks to and including the North Plum Street to East Walnut Street;
(b)
East Walnut Street from Plum Street to Duke Street;
(c)
East Orange Street from Broad Street to Duke Street;
(d)
Broad Street between King Street and Orange Street;
(e)
East King Street from eastern City line to Duke Street;
(f)
Duke Street from Chesapeake Street to Church Street;
(g)
Manor Street from southern City line to King Street;
(h)
West King Street/Columbia Avenue from Prince Street to western City line;
(i)
West Orange Street from Prince Street to Columbia Avenue; and
(j)
Harrisburg Avenue from College Avenue to western City line.
B.
The boundaries of the Streetscape District, as delineated herein, shall not be changed (expanded or decreased) without approval of City Council by ordinance.
C.
A map detailing the boundaries of the Streetscape District, in addition to being attached hereto as Exhibit A,[1] shall be maintained in the Bureau of Engineering and shall be made available for public inspection during the regular business hours of the City.
