Be it enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Walton to hereby
ordain and enact the Town of Walton Local Law "A Local Law to establish
the Town of Walton Planning Board" pursuant to the authority and provisions
of § 10 of New York State Municipal Home Rule Law.
This chapter shall be known as the "Establishment of the Town
of Walton Planning Board." The Town of Walton is hereinafter referred
to as the "Town."

The purpose of this chapter is to establish a Town of Walton
Planning Board with the intent of providing authority to said Planning
Board for the maintenance and implementation of the Town of Walton
Comprehensive Plan, reviewing and developing local laws at the request
of the Town Board and, when given the authority, administering local
laws.
