[Added at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions,
Art. I)]
The Council of the Borough of Avalon is authorized to appoint
an Assistant Manger whose appointment shall be at the will of Council.
The position of the Assistant Manger and Borough Treasurer are
hereby declared to be compatible in the Borough of Avalon.
The Borough of Avalon is hereby authorized to appoint the same
person in the Borough of Avalon to hold the position of Assistant
Manager and Borough Treasurer.
Before entering upon his duties, the Assistant Manager shall
give bond to the Borough with a bonding company as surety, to be approved
by the Council, in the sum of $150,000, conditioned upon the faithful
performance of his duties, the premium for said bond to be paid by
the Borough.
