All persons, committees, boards, and officers who are elected at a Town Meeting or the annual Town Election, or appointed by Town authority, shall be notified by the Town Clerk, and sworn in before assuming the duties of their offices.

There shall be a board known as the "Council on Aging Advisory Board" consisting of nine residents of the Town of Wellfleet appointed by the Selectboard. Appointments shall be for a term of three years except that initial appointments shall be for shorter terms to ensure that the terms of 1/3 of the Board members expire each year thereafter.
The Board shall, in consultation with the Director of Community Services:
A. 
Identify the over sixty-year-old population of the Town of Wellfleet that are eligible for services;
B. 
Ascertain the needs of this segment of the population;
C. 
Educate the community about these needs;
D. 
Enlist the support and participation of all citizens in programs to meet these needs;
E. 
Assist the Wellfleet Director of Community Services to design, develop and implement services to fill those needs and/or enhance existing services; and
F. 
Support and advocate for Council on Aging programs and budget with the Town administration and Selectboard.
