Every sign or awning erected or hung from any house, building,
posts or other structure lower than eight (8) feet from the ground
or sidewalk is hereby declared to be a nuisance.

It shall be unlawful for any person to erect or maintain any
fence composed in whole or in part of barbed wire along or adjoining
to any public street, avenue, alley, lane or other public place in
this City; and every person violating the foregoing provisions of
this Section who shall fail or neglect to remove the same within forty-eight
(48) hours after being requested so to do by the City Police Chief
shall be deemed guilty of an ordinance violation after the person
maintaining the same has been requested so to do by the City Police
Chief, it shall be the duty of the City Police Chief to remove or
cause the same to be removed, and the cost of removing the same shall
be taxed as costs in the case, in addition to the penalty herein imposed.
