Borough of Abbottstown, PA Article IV Adams County Council of Governments

§ 25-12 Preamble.

The recitals stated above are incorporated into this article as if fully repeated herein.[1]

§ 25-13 Authorization.

The Borough is hereby authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to cause the Borough to become a member of the Adams County Council of Governments.

§ 25-14 Approval of Agreement.

The Adams County Council of Governments Proposed Bylaws and Agreement is hereby approved as the Agreement for the Adams County Council of Governments, and the delegate from this Borough is hereby authorized to ratify and confirm the Proposed Bylaws and Agreement as and for the operating instrument for the Council of Governments.

§ 25-15 Appointment of delegates.

The Borough shall appoint by resolution, from time to time, one delegate to the Council of Governments, and up to two alternate delegates.
