The Zoning Board of Appeals shall consist of five residents
of the Village appointed by the Village President, subject to confirmation
of the Village Board, for terms of three years. The president shall
designate one of the members as the chair. The Zoning Board of Appeals
may employ a secretary and other employees. The president may appoint,
for staggered terms of three years, two alternate members of the Zoning
Board of Appeals, who shall act with full power only when a member
of the Zoning Board of Appeals refuses to vote because of interest
or when a member is absent.
