as amended or changed, authorizing the Town of Irondequoit to adopt
a local law which amends or supersedes any provision of Town Law § 23,
as amended or changed, and Public Officers Law § 3, as amended
or changed, in relation to the property, affairs or government of
the Town of Irondequoit or in relation to any of the other enumerated

Law § 23, as amended or changed, requiring a person to be
a resident of the political subdivision or municipal corporation of
the state for which he or she shall be chosen or which his or her
official functions are required to be exercised, shall not prevent
a person from holding the position of Director of the Department of
Community Development of the Town of Irondequoit, provided that such
person resides within Monroe County, New York.
