For purposes of this Chapter, "communications tower" shall mean
an elevated structure situated on or affixed to real property or structures
thereon that is intended for transmitting or receiving television,
microwave, radio or telephone communications.
With the exception of those towers delineated in §
228-292, no communication tower shall be located within one thousand (1,000) feet of a residential property line or residential zone boundary line, public park property line or school property line.
Construction of communications towers shall be subject to the
requirements of State Uniform Construction Code Act, N.J.S.A. 52:27D-119
et seq., and the Uniform Construction Code, promulgated thereunder.
