a. The hours between which the Wortendyke Park recreation facilities
may be used by the public shall be between dawn and dusk.
b. The hours between which the Vander Meer and Dairy Street Fields may
be used shall be between dawn and dusk, except that during football
season between August 1st and November 30th, such facilities may be
used until 9:00 p.m. weekdays, 11:30 p.m. for five (5) Friday evening
games, Saturday until 10:00 p.m., and Sunday until 8:00 p.m. during
such period. In addition, such facilities may be used for soccer activity
until 9:30 p.m. weekdays and weekends.
c. The hours for which the Junior League Field for baseball and softball
activities may be used shall be until 10:30 p.m. on weekdays, Saturdays
and Sundays.
d. Hours of Other Parks and Public Lands. No person shall enter or remain
at any park or other lands not specified above, designated for municipal
purposes, as set forth in the Official Map of the Borough between
one-half (1/2) hour before sunrise provided, however, that this regulation
shall not apply to any normal function or activity of the Borough,
its boards or departments.
e. Notwithstanding anything hereinabove contained, the Mayor and Council
of the Borough by resolution may authorize special events to take
place beyond the hours set forth herein.

No person shall enter upon any portion of the lawn or grounds
within a public park when notified by a sign placed in such park or
by a guardian of such park or by a police officer not to enter upon
such lawn or grounds.

No person or corporation shall cut, break, climb, injure or
remove any tree or any plant, shrub or tree in any park of the Borough
without a written permit from the Mayor and Council. No person or
corporation shall place any rope, wire, sign, poster, or other fixture
on a tree or a tree guard in a public park or injure, misuse, remove
or cause or procure any person to injure, misuse or remove any device
placed to protect any tree or plant in any park of the Borough without
a written permit from the Mayor and Council.

No person shall leave or deposit any paper or other waste material
in any public park, except in such receptacles as may be provided
therein for that purpose.

No person shall, without the Mayor and Council, place any booth,
stand or other structure or station or operate any wagon or other
vehicle in any public park.

No person shall offer any article for sale or display any advertising
device or distribute any circulars or cards in a public park.

No person owning, keeping, harboring, or having the care, custody
or control of any animal shall suffer, permit, or allow its presence
in any public park; provided, however, that dogs on leashes shall
be permitted.

No person shall, without the written permission of the Mayor
and Council or its duly authorized agent, possess, imbibe or consume
any alcoholic beverage in any public park.

No person or corporation shall string any wire or wires through
any public park without a written permit from the Mayor and Council.
Any person or corporation having any wire or wires running through
a public park or highway shall securely fasten such wire or wires
so that they shall not come in contact with any part of any tree therein.

No person shall play or practice golf in a public park.

No person shall, except at such time and under such regulations
as may be designated by the Mayor and Council, play at any game in
a public park.

The provisions of this section shall not apply to any activity
conducted by or approved by the Board of Recreation or the Borough
Council.

The Borough hereby establishes two (2) classes of tennis courts
known as "A" — College Road, and "B" — Dairy Street. The
A tennis courts, which were constructed by municipal funds, shall
be located at the Dairy Street Recreation Area (College Road site);
and the B tennis courts, which were constructed by municipal, federal
or state funds, shall be located at the Dairy Street Recreation Area
(site B). If additional courts are constructed in the Borough, they
shall receive the appropriate designation.

The tennis courts, categorized as A in Subsection
9-2.1, are solely for the use of residents of the Borough. A resident of the Borough, when playing, may invite one (1) nonresident guest. The officers of the Police Department of the Borough and other authorized personnel of the Borough may demand at any time proof of such residency as condition precedent to the use of the aforesaid tennis courts by any person or persons. The tennis courts, categorized as B in Subsection
9-2.1, may be used by residents and nonresidents. A first-come-first-served basis is a service policy whereby the requests of residents and/or nonresidents are attended to in the order that they arrived, without other considerations or preferences.

a. All persons and guests using the tennis courts in the Borough shall
adhere to the rules and regulations set forth hereafter and such additional
rules and regulations adopted by the Mayor and Council, which shall
govern the use of such facilities. A copy of such rules and regulations
shall be posted on a fence at each tennis court location.
b. A first-come-first-served basis is a service policy whereby the request
of resident and/or nonresidents, are attended to in the order that
they arrived, without other considerations or preferences. All of
the rules and regulations provided herein shall apply to a nonresident
as well as a resident.
c. Privately
paid instructed lessons are prohibited on Borough tennis courts at
all times.
d. No person
shall use any of the tennis courts unless such person complies in
full with the rules and regulations pertaining to the same, as hereinafter
set forth.
e. All players
must be properly attired, including shirts and tennis shoes or sneakers.
f. Playing
time on any court for any player or players is limited to one (1)
hour of play, whether playing singles or doubles. However, if, at
the termination of such hour, there are no other players waiting to
have the court, the players may continue to play past the one-hour
time limit and until such time as other players are ready to use the
court.
g. At the
discretion of the Recreation Board and Department, certain periods
on specified courts may be reserved for particular groups or activities
based upon rules and regulations developed by the Recreation Board
and Department and approved by the Mayor and Council.
h. There may
be no litter, undue noise, or use of profanity while on the tennis
courts.
i. Courts
are for tennis only. Any other use of tennis courts will not be permitted.
j. Defacing
or damaging the courts in any way is prohibited.

Any person convicted of violating this section shall be subject to such fines or penalties as established in the general penalty provision of the Borough Code, Section
1-5.

The rules and regulations set forth in this section shall apply
to the basketball courts located to the rear of the DePhillips Center
being designated as Block 10.02, Lot 41.02 on the Municipal Tax Map.

The hours between which the basketball courts may be used by
the public shall be Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00
p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 6:00 p.m.

a. The basketball courts shall be utilized for the purpose of but not
limited to basketball play, unless otherwise authorized by the Mayor
and Council. Notwithstanding the foregoing, pickleball play shall
be permitted on court number one (1).
b. Use of the basketball courts shall be limited to a one (1) hour consecutive
period if persons are waiting to use the courts.
c. Persons using the basketball courts shall refrain from profanity
or suggestive language and engaging in aggressive behavior.
