§ 53-1 Establishment; duties and responsibilities.

There is hereby established a Public Works Department.

The Council shall establish the duties and responsibilities of the Public Works Department, which shall include oversight of the management of the Water and Sewer Department and Streets Department as may be designated by Council as necessary for the efficient operations.

§ 53-2 Severability.

If a court of competent jurisdiction shall declare any section, paragraph, subsection, clause or provision of this chapter invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of this chapter as a whole or any part thereof.
