Any person, firm or corporation who shall not comply with any
order issued in accordance with the provisions hereof as provided
herein or who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter
shall, upon complaint of the Borough Clerk or any other person and
upon conviction in the Municipal Court of the borough, forfeit and
pay a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500), or any such
person, whether he or she is an individual or a partner or officer
in a firm or corporation, may be imprisoned in the county jail for
not more than ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment,
in the discretion of the Judge before whom such person may be brought.
Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a
separate offense.
Appeals from the decision of the Superintendent shall be taken,
within two (2) weeks of the decision of the Superintendent, in writing,
directed to the Borough Engineer.
