of Public Defender in the Borough. Compensation shall be established
in the Salary Ordinance.

a. Position Created; Compensation. There is hereby created the position
of Parking Enforcement/Court Officer in the Borough. Compensation
shall be as established in the Salary Ordinance.

a. Position Established. The employee position of Civilian Court Officer
is hereby created and established. The Civilian Court Officer shall
be hired by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Roselle Park.
b. Compensation. The Civilian Court Officer shall receive such compensation
as established in the Salary Ordinance.
c. Uniform; Functions and Duties. The Civilian Court Officer shall be
supplied with a uniform and a badge by the Borough, and such person
shall perform the following functions and duties:
1. Maintain order and decorum in the Municipal Court Room.
2. Interact with the Municipal Judge, Municipal Prosecutor and Municipal
Public Defender during Municipal Court sessions.
3. Assist the Municipal Court Administrator and the Deputy Court Administrator
with required documents before, during and after Municipal Court sessions.
4. Maintain a list of the disposition of the Municipal Court cases.
5. Maintain during court sessions custody and control of those cases
sent by the Borough Police Department to the Municipal Court for disposition.
6. Act as liaison between the Municipal Court and the Record Room of
the Borough Department.
7. Perform such other duties as may be assigned and directed by the
Municipal Court Judge.
