There is established in the Borough, pursuant to P.L. 1948,
Chapter 264, as amended, a Municipal Court which shall be entitled
the "Municipal Court of the Borough of Bernardsville."

The Municipal Court of the Borough shall have a seal which shall
bear the impress of the name of the Court.

The Municipal Court shall have a Judge known as the Municipal
Judge. He shall serve for a term of three years from the date of his
appointment and until his successor is appointed and qualified. The
Municipal Judge shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and
consent of the Council.

The Municipal Court shall have, possess and exercise all the
functions, powers, duties and jurisdiction in criminal and quasi-criminal
cases; shall have and exercise all the authority of a committing Judge
and such further jurisdiction as is set forth in the aforesaid Act
of the Legislature.

The salary of the Municipal Judge shall be as established in
the current Salary Ordinance.

a. All requests for discovery in matters pending in the Bernardsville
Borough Municipal Court shall be submitted through the Municipal Prosecutor
in accordance with the Rules of Court.
b. The following fees shall be payable by the requestor to the Borough
of Bernardsville for the discovery provided:
1. The fees set forth in §
2-60 for copies of Borough records.
4. Actual postage for any discovery sent by mail.
6. Photographs will be photocopied at the rates established herein.
If requests are made for duplicate photographs, the actual cost of
making the photographs shall be charged.
7. Duplication of videotapes will be charged at the actual cost of videotape.
8. On any item that cannot be photocopied on the Borough copy machine
or not otherwise provided for in this schedule, the actual cost incurred
in making the copy shall be charged.
c. Where the discovery must be obtained from an entity other than the
Borough of Bernardsville, e.g., another police department, the actual
costs paid to the other entity shall be paid by the requestor.
