No Township Commissioner shall be permitted to serve on any
board, commission, or committee of Upper Pottsgrove Township (hereinafter
referred to as "Township board") except where specific statute, Township
ordinance or Township resolution requires an elected Township Commissioner
to be a member of a Township board.
No Township Commissioner shall simultaneously serve as Commissioner
and as a member of any nonprofit organization that received or has
received monetary contributions from Upper Pottsgrove Township in
the past three years.
The prohibitions set forth in this article are not intended
and shall not conflict with, override or supersede any provisions
of state law to the contrary.
