The administrative functions, powers and duties, except such
as are by law reserved to the Council, shall be allocated among and
within the following departments, offices, boards, committees, agencies
and instrumentalities.
a.
Departments and Municipal Offices:
Court Administrator.
Township Manager.
Township Clerk.
Township Attorney.
Township Engineer.
Township Auditor.
Emergency Management.
Tax Assessor.
Construction Official - Zoning Officer.
Tax Collector.
Chief Financial Officer.
Water Superintendent.
Municipal Public Defender.
Police Department.
Health Department.
Department of Public Works.
Department of Parks and Recreation.
b.
Boards, committees, agencies and instrumentalities which are not
allocated nor assigned to a Department:
Planning Board.
Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Public Library Board of Trustees.
The Council may create such additional advisory committees as
it may deem advisable.
c.
Municipal Court:
Municipal Court of the Township of Sparta.
