A code regulating the sanitary and safety conditions for recreational bathing places, and to preserve and improve the public health; providing for the inspection of such recreational bathing places, the fixing of fees is hereby established pursuant to Chapter
9 of the New Jersey State Sanitary Code. A copy of the code is made a part hereof without the inclusion of the text thereof herein.

The code established and adopted by this chapter is described and commonly known as Chapter
9 of the New Jersey State Sanitary Code, which was adopted in January, 1987, as amended and supplemented.

Three copies of Chapter
9 of the New Jersey State Sanitary Code, adopted in January, 1987, have been placed on file in the office of the secretary of the board of health and will remain on file for the use and examination by the public.
Any person who violates any provision of, or order promulgated under this chapter, or code established herein, shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a penalty as stated in Chapter

It shall be unlawful for any person or any body corporate to operate a recreational bathing place or facility as defined in Chapter
9 of the New Jersey State Sanitary Code, without first having obtained a license or licenses from the board of health in such form or forms as the board may from time to time issue.

The fees for licenses under this section shall be as follows
and shall cover the period of May 15 until May 14th of the following
year:
a. Filing of application and plans for permit to locate and construct
or alter recreational bathing area: $200.00
b. Permit fee (per bathing area) to operate a recreational bathing area as defined in Chapter
9 of the New Jersey State Sanitary Code: $200.00
