Ordinance 1991-10]
A Park Department for the City of Weatherford is hereby created. There shall be a Park Superintendent appointed for an indefinite term. The department shall function under the supervision and guidance of the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Weatherford, as outlined in Chapter 17 of this Code.
It shall be the duty of the Park Department to maintain, improve,
and operate the parks of the city.

The Park Department shall have such employees as may be authorized
and funded by the Board of Commissioners. All employees shall be under
the supervision of the Director of Parks and Recreation.
