City of Weatherford, OK Article 13 Cemetery Department

§ 1-66 CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: CREATED.

A Cemetery Department for the City of Weatherford is hereby created. The head of this department shall be the Cemetery Superintendent, appointed for an indefinite term. The department shall function under the supervision and guidance of such Superintendent.

§ 1-67 CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: DUTIES.

It shall be the duty of the Cemetery Department to maintain, improve, and operate the cemeteries of the city.

§ 1-68 CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: EMPLOYEES. [1]

The Cemetery Department shall have such employees as may be authorized and funded by the Board of Commissioners. All employees shall be under the supervision of the Cemetery Superintendent.
