The Municipal Court created pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2A:8-1 et seq.
shall be continued, with all functions, powers, duties and jurisdiction
conferred by the aforesaid statute.

a.
Appointment. The Judge shall be appointed by the Mayor with advice
and consent of Council for a term of three (3) years and shall serve
until his successor is appointed and qualified. He shall be paid in
accordance with the annual salary ordinance.
b.
Qualification. The Judge shall be an attorney-at-law in good standing
of the State of New Jersey and a resident thereof.
