The approved recyclable materials of the Borough of Plymouth, for purposes of §§ 195-10A(3) and 195-11A(3) of Article II, Recycling, of this chapter, shall be those plastic containers composed of polyethylene terephthalate (PETE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
To assist participants in the mandatory recycling program, the
Borough of Plymouth hereby recognizes the Plastic Container Code System
of the Society of the Plastics Industry, Inc.
Pursuant to the Plastic Container Code System hereby recognized,
the approved recyclable materials designated by this article may be
identified by the legends or marks and numbers as follows which are
located within the triangular-shaped arrow symbol on each such container:
No other plastic container bearing any other legend or mark and number than those specified in § 195-23 above shall be considered lawful approved recyclable materials in the Borough of Plymouth.
