a. Single family homes on lots of not less than one acre.
b. Institutional uses, municipal buildings, parks and playgrounds, churches,
elementary, intermediate and secondary schools, firehouses, emergency
squad and other necessary emergency management facilities.
d. Local retail activities including grocery stores, meat markets, seafood
markets, delicatessens, bakeries, drug stores, furniture stores, sporting
goods shops, gift shops, hobby shops, book stores, clothing stores,
shoe stores, hardware stores, packaged liquor stores, pet shops, stationery
stores, fabric stores, florists, garden marts, farm markets, small
appliance sales, repair facilities, agricultural commercial establishments.
e. Local service activities including barber and beauty shops, tailors,
dry cleaning and laundering operations, appliance repair shops, shoe
repair shops and upholsterers.
f. Restaurants, bars and taverns.
g. Banks, including drive-in facilities.
h. Professional offices are permitted as part of a group of four or
more stores provided the offices do not exceed the equivalent of 20%
of the gross floor area of the stores. The offices shall be limited
to real estate, insurance, dentists, medical doctors, lawyers and
similar uses.
j. Agricultural processing facilities and other light industrial uses.
k. Public service infrastructure.

II, Section
17-22 of this Chapter.

No residential dwelling unit or non-residential use in the Pinelands
Village District shall be located on a parcel of less than one acre
unless served by a centralized waste water treatment plant.
