Any new curb or sidewalk or any repair to any existing sidewalk
or curb shall conform to the specifications provided in this Article.

A permit shall be required for the installation of new sidewalk
or any repair to any existing sidewalk. The fee to be assessed for
said permit shall be fixed in accordance with Municipal Ordinance
101-3(A)(1)(e)(iv).
In the event that any new sidewalk, or any repair to any existing
sidewalk, or the installation of an apron to any driveway touches
or concerns the Municipal street, a street opening permit shall be
required.
A street opening permit shall be required for the installation
of any curbing which touches or concerns any Municipal street.

All curbs and sidewalks lying within the intersection of the
side lines of intersecting streets will be paid for by the owner of
the property.
All curbs and sidewalks shall be laid at the established grade,
in conformity with adjoining property or as specified by the Borough
Engineer.

In all cases where permanent improvements are installed, the
line and grade will be furnished by the Borough Engineer at the expense
of the property owner.
Where gutters are considered necessary, they shall be laid and
paid for by the borough.
All curb corners shall be rounded with an eight-foot radius,
unless otherwise ordered in writing by the Borough Engineer.
All driveway approaches shall be of an approved hard-surface
material, and shall slope from the grade of the outer edge of the
paved portion of the sidewalk to the gutter at the curbline.
