The basketball park may be used from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during daylight saving time and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during standard time. The Township reserves the right to close the park at an earlier hour for any reason within the sole discretion of the Township.
The basketball park will be unsupervised, and any and all individuals using said park understand and agree that they will proceed at their own risk.
The basketball park is to be used for basketball playing only, and no bicycling, skateboards, unicycles, scooters, or any other kinds of activity will be permitted at said basketball park.
Any child under the age of 11 who will use the basketball park must be accompanied by an adult.
The use of the basketball park shall only be allowed when weather permits. Any type of ball playing when there is rain or snow accumulated on the ground is strictly prohibited, and no skating or skateboarding will be allowed when the basketball park surface is wet or icy.
No food or drink, glass container, alcoholic beverage or other food and beverage of any nature is permitted at the basketball park.
The Committee of the Township of Mullica reserves the right to establish, by resolution, additional rules and regulations for the use and control of the basketball park. Any such rules and regulations, along with a copy of this article, shall be posted at the basketball park and shall be binding upon any individual using said basketball park.
Any person who violates any provisions of this article shall be subject to a penalty for each offense of a fine of not more than $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days or community service for not more than 90 days, or any combination of the same, in the discretion of the Municipal Court Judge. In addition, any person who is alleged to have violated this article shall be subject to immediate removal from the basketball park and recreation complex for the remainder of the day in which said violation occurs.
