ACCESSORY BUILDING
A subordinate building, the use of which is incidental to that of the main building or main use of the premises or property.
POLE BUILDING
A structure primarily supported by wood columns embedded in the earth.

(1) 
A pole building may be constructed only in areas zoned A: Agricultural, M-1: Light Industrial, M-2: Heavy Industrial, M-3: Industrial Park, R-1E: Rural Estate, or R-1A: Rural Residential under the City of Williston Zoning Ordinance.
(2) 
A pole building may only be used for cold storage, warehousing, or as an accessory building.

(1) 
All pole buildings shall have vertical sidewalls constructed of prefinished colored 29 gauge steel or according to span.
(2) 
The roof of any pole building shall have a minimum pitch of two inches for each 12 inches of slope.
(3) 
All pole buildings shall be constructed according to the State Building Codes.

Prior to issuing a building permit for any pole building, the City Building Official shall determine that the proposed pole building will be generally compatible with adjacent properties or other properties in the geographical vicinity. Any person aggrieved by any decision of the building official as it relates to the construction of pole buildings may appeal such decision. The procedure for appeal shall be that same procedure as set forth in the City of Williston Zoning Ordinance.
