Every person operating a bicycle upon a bicycle route other
than a roadway shall ride as near to the right side of the bicycle
route as practicable, exercising due care when passing a stationary
object or person or one proceeding in the same direction.
Persons riding bicycles upon a bicycle route other than a roadway
shall ride in single file.

Every person operating a bicycle upon a bicycle route other
than a roadway shall give reasonable warning by an audible signal
before passing a stationary person or a person proceeding in the same
direction.

No vehicle except a bicycle shall be permitted to operate on
bicycle paths or bicycle routes that are designated as such by sections
4A-2 and 4A-3 of this code.

Unless another penalty is expressly provided by state statute,
every person convicted of a violation of any provision of this article
shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $25.
