A.
Legislative findings and statement of purpose.
(1)
The Town Board hereby finds that in recent years, there has been a marked increase in the number of motor vehicles parked on White Creek Road in the Town of Hoosick during the summer months due to its proximity to a small creek used for swimming. White Creek Road is a narrow Town road with several sharp curves. The parking of numerous vehicles on both sides of the road therefore creates a hazardous condition for normal vehicular traffic utilizing the road.
(2)
The purpose of this section is to protect the public safety, health, and general welfare of the people of the Town of Hoosick, and of the general public lawfully operating motor vehicles in the Town of Hoosick, by prohibiting the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of White Creek Road in the vicinity of the creek used for swimming.
B.
Scope of restrictions.
(1)
The parking of motor vehicles on either side of White Creek Road from its intersection with New York State Route 22 to Telford Road, a distance of approximately 1.1 miles, is hereby prohibited at all times.

A.
Purpose. Daun Lane is a narrow Town road which is plowed by the Town Highway Department. At times, the Town's plows have not been able to plow the full length of the road because cars were parked on the road, obstructing the road. The Town has requested of the people who park along the road not to do so, but these requests have been ignored. Parking on the road makes plowing impossible and also impedes the movement of emergency vehicles, creating a danger to the public health and safety.
B.
Parking prohibited. No vehicle shall park on either side of Daun Lane for its entire length.
C.
Penalties. Any person who shall park on either side of Daun Lane shall be guilty of a violation and subject to a fine of up to $250 per violation
D.
Invalidity of portion of law. If any provision of this section is held in a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, that decision shall not effect the validity and effectiveness of the remaining provision of this section.
E.
Effective date. This section shall become effective immediately upon its filing with the Secretary of State.
