As authorized by the New Jersey Statutes, and specifically N.J.S.A.
18A:6-4.2 et seq., the Trustees of Princeton University have appointed
persons to act as police officers for Princeton University, a portion
of which is located within the municipality of Princeton. The scope
of their power is defined by N.J.S.A. 18A:6-4.5 and 18A:6-4.7.[1]
