It is the intent of the Town Board of the Town of Salina to
change Grievance Day from the fourth Wednesday in May to June 8,2020
for the 2020 year only, pursuant to the Governor's Executive
Order No. 202.22 of 2020.
The Board of Assessment Review shall convene to hear complaints
in relation to assessments commencing on June 8, 2020.
This article shall remain in effect for the 2020 assessment
year, the changing of the date of Grievance Day being for only the
year 2020 and in 2021 and thereafter it shall be the fourth Wednesday
of May.
It is the intent of the Town Board to supersede § 512(1)
of the New York State Real Property Tax Law to the extent that the
date for meeting of the Board of Assessment Review shall not be the
fourth Wednesday of May.
