If an illegally parked vehicle is removed pursuant to §
153-2 of this chapter, the owner or other person lawfully entitled to the possession of such vehicle may be charged with the reasonable cost for removal and storage, payable to the authorized towing company, before the vehicle is released.
The words "parking," "highway," and "vehicle" as used in this
chapter shall have the meanings as defined the Vehicle and Traffic
Law of the State of New York.
The parking of any vehicle in violation of the provisions of
this chapter shall constitute a traffic infraction punishable as provided
in the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
