Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have
the meanings indicated:
Any deck which is physically connected to the principal building
or accessory structure.
Any structure which serves as a raised horizontal platform
on floor constructed of wood or other materials, without enclosing
walls or roof.
Any deck which is physically attached to the principal building
or accessory structure.
C.
Permits. A building permit is required for any new deck, deck addition,
alteration, or replacement of required guardrails. Sole replacement
of deck boards does not require a building permit.
