[Adopted 3-22-1976 by Ord. No. 1976-4; amended in its entirety at time
of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II)]
S.C. Code Ann., Title 56, Chapter 5, § 56-5-10 et
seq., the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways ("Uniform Act"),
as amended, is hereby adopted as the municipal ordinance regulating
traffic in the City of Walhalla, and the same is hereby incorporated
by reference thereto as if specifically set forth in sections.
This article includes all regulations regarding traffic on the
highways and streets of Walhalla as set forth in S.C. Code Ann., Title
56, Chapter 5, as amended, to the date of this article.
All ordinances regarding traffic and motor vehicles operating
in the City of Walhalla inconsistent with the provisions of the Uniform
Act are hereby repealed.
All violations of this article shall be punished by fine or
imprisonment within the limits of the jurisdiction of the Municipal
Court of the City of Walhalla.
