Every person, corporation or association required to procure
a license or permit under the provisions of any law or ordinance of
the Borough of Kenilworth or requesting any service of a municipal
officer or employee or copies of any records which are permitted by
law shall submit the proper required application or request accompanied
by the full amount of the license fee or fee for the service or copies
requested.
The proper official, employee or board shall collect all fees,
issue licenses or permits, in the name of the Borough of Kenilworth,
and deliver all fees to the Borough Clerk with a report of collections,
and the Borough Clerk shall deposit them with the Borough Treasurer.

The following fees shall be charged by the Police Department:
A. Accident
report.
(1) Picked up by applicant: one to three pages, $2; $1 for each additional
page.
(2) Mailed to applicant: one to three pages, $5; $1 for each additional
page.
B. Police
report.
(1) Picked up by applicant: one to three pages, $5; $1 for each additional
page.
(2) Mailed to applicant: one to three pages, $7; $1 for each additional
page.
C. Discovery/search reports.
(1) Picked up by applicant: one to three pages, $5; $1 for each additional
page.
(2) Mailed to applicant: one to three pages, $7; $1 for each additional
page.
D. Good conduct letters: $10 each.
E. Letters of recommendation: $10 each.
F. Photostatic copy of arrest report: up to three pages, $10; $5 for
each additional page.
G. Research of records and/or preparation of reports: $30 per hour,
with two-hour minimum charge.
H. Photo reproduction: $7.50 each.
J. Applicant review of videotape or audio tape: $30.

(1) In addition to all fees required for off-duty police services, a
fee of $15 per hour or any part thereof shall be due for the use of
any police vehicle.
M. Police fingerprinting: $25 payable by certified or bank check, or
cash.

(1) This fee is not applicable to parents having children age 12 or under
who are being fingerprinted for identification purposes.
(2) Any additional fees reflecting the processing cost for other state
or federal authorities or agencies will also be collected and are
payable directly to the authority or agency by certified or bank check.
N. Youth Police Academy.

(1) Kenilworth Youth Police Academy registration fee be set at $50 per
person.
(2) The Kenilworth Police Chief and/or his designee may award scholarships
at their discretion; registration fee for same will be waived.
O. Employment
application fee (nonrefundable).

(1) Entry-level
police officer application fee: $25.
(2) Certified
police officer application fee: $25.
This article shall in no way affect any other ordinance requiring
the payment of any fee for any license or any other service except
as it may be in conflict herewith.
