It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep
any horses, ponies, cows, calves, swine, sheep, goats or fowl in any
dwelling, rooming house or tenement or any part thereof; nor shall
any of the aforesaid animals or fowl be kept in the yard of any such
building or the lot thereof unless the same is at least 80 feet from
any building in which any human beings are housed.
(1) An exception shall be the case of goats. Up to two goats per parcel
are allowed, temporarily, up to two weeks, for the purpose of vegetation
management and control. Property owners shall apply for a temporary
permit with the Code Enforcement Department for a flat rate of $25.
Goats must be tethered at all times and must be kept in a humane and
clean manner.
