Village of Lake Grove, NY Chapter 108A Cannabis Opt-Out

§ 108A-1 Cannabis dispensary and on-site consumption establishment opt-out.

The Village of Lake Grove hereby elects to opt out of the provisions of the Cannabis Law allowing the establishment and licensing of retail cannabis dispensaries and/or cannabis on-site consumption establishments within the Village of Lake Grove and requests the Cannabis Control Board to prohibit the establishment of such retail dispensary licenses and/or on-site consumption licenses contained in Article 4 of the Cannabis Law within the Village of Lake Grove.

§ 108A-2 Board not to issue retail dispensary or on-site consumption licenses.

Upon the adoption of this chapter by the adoption of a local law subject to permissive referendum,[1] the Cannabis Control Board shall not issue a retail dispensary license and/or an on-site consumption license contained in Article 4 of the Cannabis Law within the Village of Lake Grove.
