No valid petition was filed.
It is the policy of the Village of Garden City to prohibit the
licensed sale and/or on-site consumption of cannabis within the boundaries
of the Village of Garden City.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 131 of Article 6 of the
New York State Cannabis Law, the Village of Garden City hereby requests
that the State of New York (and/or the New York State Cannabis Control
Board and/or any other governmental agency authorized to issue such
license) prohibit the establishment of any retail dispensary and/or
on-site consumption by refusing to grant any such license (which would
otherwise permit the sale and/or on-site consumption of cannabis)
within the Village of Garden City.
