Article 1 City Officers: Election and Duties

§ 6-101 Officers Elected; Term; Qualifications.

(a) There shall be elected on the first Tuesday in April of each odd-numbered year a Mayor and five Councilmen.

(b) The Mayor and Councilmen shall hold their offices for a term of two years and shall be qualified electors of the City under the Constitution of the State of Kansas.

§ 6-102 Nonpartisan Elections.

All elections for the City of Mission Woods, Kansas, shall be nonpartisan.
