The Burgess and Commissioners of the Town of Walkersville hereby
adopt the 1997 Walkersville Design Manual relating to requirements
and standards in public improvements, a copy of which is available
at the Town Office and incorporated by reference into this ordinance.
The purpose of the Design Manual is to provide developers and
the consulting engineering community with the requirements, preferences,
standards and procedures for the construction of roads, streetlights,
storm drains, and public water system in the Town of Walkersville.
The intent of the Burgess and Commissioners in adopting the
Design Manual is to achieve uniformity of approach, economy of design
and schedule, technical quality improvement and information.
