A. 
The Mayor, with the consent and approval of a majority of the members elected to the Board of Aldermen, shall appoint a qualified person to the position of Dual Clerk. The Dual Clerk shall divide his/her work time between acting as Deputy Court Clerk from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and acting as Deputy Clerk between 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. with the duties being as follows:
1. 
Deputy Court Clerk duties:
a. 
Process court cases.
b. 
Docket court cases.
c. 
Answer court telephone calls.
d. 
Assist public at court window.
2. 
Deputy Clerk duties:
a. 
Answer telephones and distribute calls.
b. 
Process residential inspections and re-inspections.
c. 
Process venue permits.
d. 
Complete orders for pool passes.
e. 
Process occupancy permits.
f. 
Process pet licenses.
g. 
Process garage sale permits.
The Dual Clerk shall perform such other duties in each department as may be assigned by his/her supervisor. The Dual Clerk shall only perform the duties of the specific position in which he/she is acting during the allotted time and shall not co-mingle the duties.
B. 
The Dual Clerk shall be compensated in accordance with Ordinance 1953 of the City of Woodson Terrace.
C. 
The Dual Clerk shall have such other and further duties and powers that may be prescribed by the laws of this State and the ordinances of the City.
