Nothing in this code or the ordinance adopting this code shall
affect any ordinance:
(1)
Dedicating,
accepting, naming, renaming, establishing, locating, opening, paving,
widening or vacating any street or other public way in the Town;
(2)
Providing
for street improvements and assessments therefor;
(3)
Establishing
or prescribing grades for streets; or
(4)
Relating
to municipal street maintenance agreements with the State;

and all such ordinances are hereby recognized as continuing
in full force and effect to the same extent as if set out at length
in this code.

The Town hereby accepts and adopts the provisions of V.T.C.A.,
Transportation Code, chapter 313, which article relates to street
improvements and assessments in cities, towns and villages having
more than one thousand (1,000) inhabitants.
