The zoning ordinance, published as chapter 12 of the 1986 Code of Ordinances, as amended, is included at the end of this chapter as exhibit A. Chapter 12 of the 1986 Code incorporated ordinances adopted May 6, 1969, December 7, 1971, July 20, 1982, November 20, 1984, April 3, 1989, May 8, 1989, July 3, 1989, July 7, 1989, August 8, 1989, January 20, 1992, and January 18, 1999. Due to the nature of the zoning ordinance and the technicalities involved in adopting or amending it, such ordinance is printed herein as it appeared in chapter 12 of the 1986 Code, with only nonsubstantive changes in style, formatting, capitalization and punctuation. Numbering of articles, sections and subsections has been retained as printed in chapter 12 of the 1986 Code. Amendments subsequent to January 18, 1999, will be inserted in their proper place and denoted by a history note following the amended provisions. Obviously misspelled words have been corrected without notation. Any other material added for purposes of clarification is enclosed in brackets.
