The Reecy Davis Recreation Center shall be open to the public, subject to the regulations governing the use and enjoyment of same, including those contained in this division, on such days and during such hours as may be determined by the director of parks and recreation, hereinafter referred to as “director.”

The regulations governing the use and enjoyment of the recreation center shall include but not be limited to the following:
(1) 
Membership and fees.
(A) 
A valid membership fee as provided for in section A16.04.092 is required to use the recreation center facilities. Participants must scan their card at the front desk upon entering the facility.
(B) 
All guests must pay for a day pass to access the facility if no valid membership is presented.
(C) 
Using another participant’s pass to gain access is prohibited.
(D) 
All fees will be provided for in section A16.04.092.
(2) 
Resident/nonresident fees.
(A) 
Residents will get a lower rate than nonresidents.
(B) 
To get the lower rate, persons must show proof of residency.
(C) 
To show proof of residency, you must provide an up to date utility bill.
(3) 
Age restrictions.
(A) 
All patrons 17 and older shall be considered adults.
(B) 
All patrons 16 and older may be a chaperone.
(C) 
All patrons that are under the age of 13 shall be accompanied by a chaperone, parent, or legal guardian.
(4) 
Closing days and holiday hours.
(A) 
The recreation center shall be open 7 days a week.
(B) 
The recreation center shall not be open on the following days: 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day.
(5) 
Protection of recreation center equipment and facility.
(A) 
No person shall intentionally damage or destroy recreation center equipment.
(B) 
To protect equipment, patrons must check out certain equipment at the front desk from staff.
(C) 
An equipment check-out sheet will be kept to track equipment.
(D) 
Nonmarking athletic shoes are required.
(E) 
No dunking is allowed.
(6) 
Dress code.
(A) 
All patrons must always wear a shirt.
(B) 
All patrons must wear appropriate shoes for the activities they will be participating in at the recreation center.
(C) 
No slides are allowed within the court boundaries.
(7) 
Behavior.
(A) 
No disorderly conduct will be tolerated.
(B) 
Profanity and vulgar language will not be tolerated.
(C) 
Lewd language or actions will not be tolerated.
(8) 
Safety of staff and patrons.
(A) 
Program employees must have first aid supplies and a first-aid and emergency care guide readily available
(B) 
In the event injury care cannot be administered through basic first-aid, employees shall notify the fire department paramedics (call 911).
(C) 
The city is not responsible for any injuries.
(D) 
The facility will have an annual fire inspection by the local fire marshal and the resulting report will detail any safety concerns observed.
(E) 
The facility must have at least one fire extinguisher approved by the fire marshal readily available.
(F) 
In case of fire, danger of fire, explosion, tornado or other emergency, recreation center employees’ priority is to evacuate the participants to a designated safe area.
