(a) A person
commits an offense if he:
(1) Exceeds
the speed of 30 MPH on any street within the town limits of the Town
of Double Oak.
(2) Operates
a motor vehicle in a reckless fashion that was not reasonable and
prudent under the circumstances then existing.
(3) Displays
an exhibition of acceleration with a motor vehicle.
(b) For the
purposes of this article, “exhibition of acceleration”
is defined as accelerating a motor vehicle from a still or near still
position rapidly to a higher speed in a manner as to endanger or likely
to endanger persons or property, including the operator of the vehicle.
