The hereinafter listed terms, phrases and words when used herein shall have the following meanings:
Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-code manufactured home.
A structure constructed on or after June 15, 1976, according to the rules of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, transportable in one (1) or more sections, which, in the traveling mode, is eight (8) body feet or more in width or forty (40) body feet or more in length, or, when erected on-site, is three hundred twenty (320) or more square feet, and which is built on a permanent chassis and designed to be used as a dwelling with or without a permanent foundation when connected to the required utilities, and includes the plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, and electrical systems.
Legal nonconforming mobile or HUD-code manufactured home space.
A mobile or HUD-code manufactured home space in existence on December 8, 1979, as evidenced by utility hookups, and which is shown on a site plan registered with the building official as directed in division 5 of this article.
Mobile home.
A structure that was constructed before June 15, 1976, transportable in one (1) or more sections, which, in the traveling mode, is eight (8) body feet or more in width or forty (40) body feet or more in length, or, when erected on-site, is three hundred twenty (320) or more square feet, and which is built on a permanent chassis designed to be used as a dwelling with or without a permanent foundation when connected to the required utilities, and includes the plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, and electrical systems.
Mobile or HUD-code manufactured home park.
A tract of land laid out and developed to provide spaces for rent or lease as mobile or HUD-code manufactured [home] sites on a short-term or long-term basis.
Mobile or HUD-code manufactured [home] space.
A plot or ground within a mobile or HUD-code manufactured home park designed for the accommodation of one (1) mobile or HUD-code manufactured home.
Space, front of.
That side of a mobile or HUD-code manufactured [home] space which faces on, and is closest to, the street.
Space, rear of.
That side of a mobile or HUD-code manufactured home space which is opposite the front of the space. Provided that, in the case of a double-frontage space, both street exposures shall be treated as a space front.
Space, side of.
Any side not the front or rear of a mobile or HUD-code manufactured home space.
Space lines.
The lines bounding a mobile or HUD-code manufactured home space as herein defined.
Space line, front.
The line bounding that side of a mobile or HUD-code manufactured home space which faces on, and is closest to, the street.
Space line, rear.
The line bounding that side of a mobile or HUD-code manufactured home space which is opposite the front of the space. Provided that, in the case of a double frontage-space, the lines of both street exposures shall be treated as front space lines.
Space line, side.
Any space line not a front or rear space line.
Street.
Unless otherwise stated, means a private street.
