The rates for water impact fees pursuant to chapter 395 of the
Local Government Code provided by the city shall be $517.38 per MUE
as established in the rate study. An MUE is the meter unit equivalent
based on a 3/4" meter.

For new construction within the city limits that will connect
to the city water system, the water impact fee shall be assessed and
paid simultaneous with the building permit. For new construction in
the city that will not initially connect to the city water system,
or for customers constructing outside of the city limits which do
connect to such system, the impact fee will be assessed and paid at
the time such service is requested and connected.
