Where required by this GDC, or controlling law, the City Council shall consider the recommendation of the Plan Commission, together with the recommendations of any other advisory board or commission prescribed by this GDC or established by the City Council, concerning a proposed text amendment. Where action is required of the Plan Commission or other advisory board or commission on a proposed text amendment, the Plan Commission or other advisory board or commission shall also conduct a public hearing. Published notice for such amendment shall be in accordance with Section 1.24 of this Chapter 1.
