The owner or occupant of every house and building in the city
shall place the street number assigned by the city in some conspicuous
place on the exterior wall of the house or building so that the number
may be plainly seen from the street.

The owner or occupant of a residence or building shall identify the building by placing the house numbers required by section
3.10.001 in compliance with the following:
(1) The
numbers must be at least four inches high;
(2) The
numbers must be made of some bright metal or other weatherproof material
which contrasts with the color of the building;
(3) The
numbers must be posted in numeral form, i.e., 430 Grove rather than
four hundred thirty Grove.

When more than one apartment building is located on a lot or
tract of land, the owner or manager of the property shall identify
each building by a permanent number attached to the exterior wall
of each building, located so that they are clearly visible and readable
from the street or driveway serving the building. The numbers shall
be:
(1) Not
less than eight inches high;
(2) Made
of some bright metal or other weatherproof material which contrasts
with the color of the building; and

Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this article shall be fined as provided in section
1.01.009 of this code for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
