In the G and H retail districts, no building or land shall be used and no building shall be hereafter erected or structurally altered which is arranged or designed to be used for other than one or more of the following uses:

Any use permitted in any of the foregoing districts.

Agricultural implements, sales and service, completely enclosed within walls and under roof.

Archery range, commercial.

The establishment is open to the public to serve the public at least five days of every week.
(D) 
Dance floors and dancing are prohibited.

In an H district, light manufacturing. For purposes of this section, light manufacturing is defined as fabrication and assembly in an enclosed area with operations being conducted not more than six days per week and not more than 16 hours per day. Such manufacturing shall not cause noxious odors or noise levels which shall exceed those of other businesses authorized for such district.

Adult entertainment enterprises as defined in article 14.06, division 3 of this chapter may be conditionally permitted in the H retail district subject to the requirements in article 14.06, division 3 of this chapter.

In a G district, and for dwellings and apartments in an H district, there shall be a front yard along the front line of the lot. The depth of such front yard shall be 15 feet. On a corner lot, a yard along a side street shall not be deemed a front yard. On a fractional lot in the rear of a corner lot, the front yard shall conform to the side yard requirements of the corner lot. No front yard shall be required for buildings other than dwellings or apartment houses in the H district.

In a G district and an H district, there shall be a rear yard along the rear line of the lot. The minimum depth of such rear yard shall be 20 feet for dwellings or apartments and ten feet for other buildings. Half the width of an alley may be included as a rear yard. On a fractional lot backing up against the side of another lot, the depth of the rear yard may be reduced to 15 feet for dwellings and apartments.

In both the G and H districts, there shall be a side yard along each line of the lot other than a front or rear line for dwellings or apartments. The minimum width of the side yard shall be five feet. No part of an alley shall be allowed as part of a side yard. No side yards are required for business buildings unless a lot abuts upon the side of a lot zoned for dwelling purposes, in which event there shall be a side yard of not less than five feet. If a side yard is provided for a business building, such side yard shall not be less than three feet.

The minimum average width of a lot in the G and H retail districts shall be 50 feet for a dwelling or an apartment house.

In both G and H districts, the minimum area of an interior lot shall be 3,500 square feet for a one-family dwelling or 5,000 square feet for a two-family dwelling, and for apartment houses or buildings arranged or designed for more than two families the minimum area shall be 5,000 square feet plus 500 square feet for each family in excess of two. The minimum area of a corner lot shall be 2,500 square feet for a one-family dwelling or 4,500 square feet for a two-family dwelling, and for apartment houses or buildings designed for more than two families the minimum area of a corner lot shall be 4,500 square feet plus 500 square feet for each family in excess of two. No minimum lot area is required for business buildings.

For dwellings and apartment houses in the G and H retail districts, no building shall cover more than 40 percent of the lot area.

The height of dwellings in the G and H districts shall not exceed 45 feet or three stories. In the G and H districts, buildings other than one- or two-family dwellings may be erected to a height not exceeding 75 feet when the required side yards are increased an additional foot for each foot such buildings exceed 45 feet in height.
