The following regulations govern the display of temporary interior signs within business establishments and other organizations within the CPDD that are either open to the public or to participating members/invitees of the establishment:
(1) General requirements.
(A) Any temporary interior signage which is affixed or attached to storefront doors or windows is subject to the rules and requirements of this article pertaining to interior signage.
(B) Other signs within the interior premises of a business/organizational establishment are exempt from the requirements of this article.
(C) Temporary interior signs do not require a sign permit from the town. However, interior signs affixed or attached to windows or doors are subject to the requirements of this article as specified. Noncomplying signs may be ordered removed or adjusted by the town code enforcement officer.
(2) Limitations on size and location.
(A) Interior signage, whether temporary or permanent, may not cover, occupy or exceed twenty-five percent (25%) of the total area of the storefront windows or doors visible to the public from the exterior of the premises.
(B) Interior signage, whether temporary or permanent, may not cover, occupy or exceed fifty percent (50%) of the area of any individual storefront window or door visible to the public from the exterior of the premises.
(C) No interior signage may be placed in a location on windows or doors which obscures clear public view (at normal adult eye levels) into the business/organizational establishment from the exterior of the premises.
